Many of the Save Lennox Campaign followers and supporters have been contacting the Admin expressing concern of the removal of the official Save Lennox Campaign Facebook page. Please be aware that Facebook have not removed the page, in fact the Save Lennox Campaign Admin have temporarily disabled the page whilst Facebook look into those people who have been posting graphic images of animals and claim to be supporters of Belfast City Council.
The Save Lennox Campaign are not suggesting in any way that those twisted individuals who are posting hateful comments and graphic images are indeed representing Belfast City Council as many different campaign pages with high profiles and large followings also become victim to time wasters and those hell bent on causing upset, nonetheless while Facebook look into the matter of those involved we felt it better to tempoarily disable the Facebook Campaign page. Remember there is only one official Facebook page for the Save Lennox Campaign which can be found by typing this URL into your browser www.savelennoxfacebook.co.uk Should anyone come across any other Facebook page claiming to be the Save Lennox Campaign page then please DO NOT post comment or engage in any form of communication with those people who have setup the fake pages but instead simply report the page to Facebook by clicking on the ‘Report Page’ option found at the bottom left hand side of every page.

Ppl are in a panic and some thinking Save Lennox is over and done with, the page needs to be opened again ASAP imo
There are enogh ppl willing to help monitor the page world wide that can delete the comments and gaphic pics etc, I for one will step up to help.

Some of us have been using a Temporary Lennox facebook page we were told was set up while the original one is sorted out.It seems a supprter has done it.Can you say yes or no to this please?
Unfortunately we are unaware of any temp page setup by any supporters so we cannot confirm if it is legit or not. The official Save Lennox Facebook Campaign page is still currently disabled and we do not have any temp pages setup ourselves. Personally I wouldn’t risk using any other page and wait until the official page is again back online.

The girl in charge of the Trafalgar Square Protest is the person who has opened the Temp Lennox page. Natasha has been amazing, she dealt with trolls has disabled posting & closed the page for the night. She is trying to give non-Twitter users a place to keep in contact. Im Fb savvy & have personally reported 20 trolls from this Richard Tate, pls allow us to continue with your Blessing. FB will find we have done nothing wrong concerning trolling. We are all on your side
there has been a person on face book posting dreadful comments about Lennox, lots of us fought back and he was removed.
Sadly he has posted a photo of lennox with his head off and said he was going to die.
We all reported him or her and the page was taken down.

there were 100′s of supporters on face book for lennox.

I almost collapsed when i saw the state of this dear precious dog .We are his only voice and he is innocent and suffering .Please let him feel freedom and be happy with a loving family.For now i beg you please please give this dog the medical care he needs .This is breaking my heart .people are meant to show compassion and kindness to all animals !!!!!!

Your facebook page is down again as of 4th October 2011 – is this because of the trolls that keep posting hateful remarks about the case?
Yes the page is currently offline due to the fighting, bitching, lies and non factual comments being made by some people. We have taken the site offline ourselves so no need to worry
